Kindergarten Stories: Oso pardo, oso pardo ¿qué ves ahí?

A parent recently asked me about books to read with their kindergarten student in Spanish.  One of my favorite books is the Spanish translation of "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?"  Kindergarten students love reading about animals!  This story is also a wonderful way to reinforce colors.

In class, we learned that brown is café.  However, the way that we say "brown bear" is oso pardo.  Pardo is another word for brown.
